Joley Abrams is the new Marketing Assistant for MGMWERX in Montgomery, Alabama. A creative and pioneering professional with expertise in promotions, customer service, and marketing, Joley is responsible for social media messaging and marketing. Prior to joining MGMWERX, Joley was an Operations Director for Strykers Gymnastics in Luverne, AL. Her skills in customer service and project management gained her gym 100s of awards and recognitions. Her work in events management helped move her teams to and through numerous engagements, appearances, and performances. She comes to MGMWERX with a distinguished career in retail marketing and project management mostly for large retail corporations like The Home Depot in Atlanta, GA and Walmart Stores in Bentonville, AR. She is credited with leadership in the inventory management and procurement system re-boot for The Home Depot and global vendor management processes for Walmart.
Joley is a trained jazz dancer with a BFA in Dance Education from University of Georgia and a BBA in International Business Marketing from American Intercontinental University. When asked what she plans to achieve as a member of the MGMWERX team, Joley responded, “MGMWERX is a community centric organization that is in the business of moving the world forward. I just want to be apart of that movement and ultimately serve my community.”
MGMWERX was created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement to align with the education initiatives of Air University. MGMWERX augments ongoing Air University programs, through events like Pitch Night, to enhance the production of high-quality, innovative research and ideas that span issues of importance to the Air Force. This includes, but is not limited to, doctrine, strategies, capability needs, operational concepts, training, education, and science and technology.
