The Air University Research Showcase highlighted Airman research accomplished in academic year 2021. This showcase feature 15 virtual panels that put student research on display for live feedback and collaboration from industry and academic experts. Virtual attendees had the opportunity to watch the live panel discussions and engage with Airman and industry SMEs through virtual chat rooms for questions and comments.
Through the Air University Research Showcase, Air University sought to create a library of content that could be used in class, provide networking opportunities for Airmen researchers with folks outside of the AU ecosystem, grow the AU professional ecosystem of academics and industry leaders, and expose the AU brand to a larger audience.
• Connected 30 industry or academic leaders to Airman research crafted at Air University (AU).
• Exposed Air University research and researchers to hundreds of viewers in academia and industry through live, virtual event and archived videos.
• Provided an easy to access repository of panel discussions about Air University student research for use in classroom at AU.
• Digital marketing campaign concluded with the Air University brand receiving over 300k impressions from a tailored audience of academic and industry professionals.
