Keynote speaker and presentation coach, Nathan Gold, was in Montgomery on May 17 to share his secrets with the community on “How to Present Anything to Anyone in Under Five Minutes.”
The presentation was held at Escapology, where nearly 80 people turned out to hear Gold speak on how to be an effective presenter while giving a quick, yet impactful presentation. He provided the attendees with tips ranging from how to initially hook the audience at the beginning of a presentation, to giving a proper close that will leave an impression on the audience. Gold informed attendees that “a presentation begins when you walk in the room” so it’s important to be punctual, organized, and friendly.
While in Montgomery, Gold also mentored participants in Air University’s Top Flight Pitch Night hosted by MGMWERX, held May 21. Each of the five participants in Air University’s Top Flight Pitch Night prepared and presented their research on innovative ideas that could improve processes within the Air Force to an audience of over 100 people.
MGMWERX, the host of these events, augments Air University programs to enhance production of high-quality, innovative research and ideas that span issues of importance to the Air Force, which can include doctrine, strategies, capability needs, operational concepts, training, education, and science and technology.
