Montgomery, AL – April 14, 2022, marked General CQ Brown’s, Air Force Chief of Staff, 2nd visit to Montgomery’s Innovation hub. But this time, General Brown indulged us with an interview. Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Trent H. Edwards, MGMWERX Director, sat with General Brown to discuss a range of topics. Air Force priorities and mission, innovation, and innovation spaces were all on the lists of topics to cover.
“It’s not every day you get to interview the Chief of Staff of the Air Force,” commented Brigadier General (Ret.), Trent H. Edwards, the Director, MGMWERX.
The Werx Seminar Series is a monthly web series that showcases leaders in Industry, Academia, Community, and the Military. The series consists of seminars, workshops, and interviews that are available for attendance at the innovation hub and on the MGMWERX YouTube channel.
“We thoroughly appreciated the Chief taking time to speak to us about his accelerate change or lose philosophy, Airmen Action orders, Air Force priorities, and his thoughts on how innovation hubs like MGMWERX partnering with Air University, can accelerate change across the Air Force, ignite student critical thinking, transform student learning, and re-shape doctrine,” said Edwards.
“It’s about scouting Air Force, industry, and academia best practices that improve operational effectiveness and accelerate warfighting, readiness, and national security initiatives—we are proud to partner with Air University and serve as an integral part of the Montgomery community,” commented the Director.
