Assessment Event (AE)
Assessment Event (AE) – Air University Innovator Accelerator (AUiX) submits unique problems to be solved. As its innovation hub, MGMWERX utilizes its ecosystem and market research to attract best-of-breed submissions to solve those problems. Subsequently, AUiX reviews and selects performers with the highest value to satisfy their needs to enter agreement negotiations. All Assessment Events (AE) conducted through MGMWERX have the potential to result in monetary awards and/or agreements.

Outreach Activities - Ecosystem building events that include participation in organized engagements with Industry/Academia/Labs/Government.

Rapid Prototyping Event (RPE)
Rapid Prototyping Event (RPE) – Events designed to rapidly identify, prototype and drive effective outcomes to complex or challenging problem areas utilizing low cost, innovative technologies or techniques.

Collaboration Event (CE)
Collaboration Event (CE) – End Users, Industry, Academia, and Labs participate in design thinking sessions to ideate specific challenge areas and develop actionable plans for effective implementation to achieve their goals. Outcomes from a CE shape future efforts, projects, and events. Collaboration Activities - Engagements with Industry/Academia/Labs/Government to further the mission.

Feasibility Study
Feasibility Study – A preliminary investigation into the potential benefits associated with undertaking a specific technology or method. The purpose of such a study is to conduct an in-depth analysis and determine its efficacy and what (if any) future resource investments will yield a desirable result.
Prize Challenge (PC)
Prize Challenge (PC) – Short-fused challenges, allowing the ecosystem to submit innovative solutions for AUiX consideration. Subsequently, AUiX reviews submissions and selects winners to receive cash prizes. (Length of challenges and award amounts vary).

Hackathon
Hackathon – A competitive, short-fused event for participants to work in groups on current, specific End User challenges. The most innovative solutions have the opportunity to win cash prizes.
STEAM Events
STEAM Events – MGMWERX collaborates with schools and academic organizations to introduce students to the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Tech Sprint
Tech Sprint – Event designed to rapidly modify existing, innovative solutions to satisfy a specific AUiX challenge based on Government and End User suggestions.
Tech Talk
Tech Talk – Renowned Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) present mission-relevant topics to a Government, Academia, Industry, and National Lab audience.
