MGMWERX ideation workshop calls on academia, industry for improved Student Information System development

MGMWERX recently hosted a Student Information Systems Ideation Workshop with academic and industry partners to help discover the best ideas and systems available for the university setting.

The workshop called on experts to share lessons learned so that MGMWERX’s customer, Air University, can enhance the student experience in coming academic years.

Alabama State University; Auburn University at Montgomery, Troy University main and Montgomery campuses, and Trenholm State Community College were all represented in the discussion that resulted in a rubric to focus and shape the larger Air University vendor assessments for student information and learning management systems.

“Having university partners as part of the ideation and collaboration session added great value to the day’s conversations,” said Steve Werner, MGMWERX director. “Our partners continually assist in providing positive outcomes and ultimately make our ecosystem successful.”

Over the coming weeks the ideas shared will help Air University in identifying the best candidate in Student Information Systems for their military and civilian students.
