MGMWERX welcomed Eric T. Gerritson as the innovation hub’s Innovation & Collaboration Principal April 22.
In his capacity, Gerritson will work as the liaison for the hub’s unique partners, including military, scientists, research laboratories, subject matter experts, educational institutions, private sector associations, industry leaders, government agencies, and other entities within the MGMWERX ecosystem.
A California native, Gerritson has more than 34 years of complex government, education and industry collaboration experience specializing in the development of highly productive Public-Public partnership alliances.
He has served as a facilitator for the Army’s Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff Installation Management to encourage community engagement to create cost-savings and innovative partnerships between installations and local communities for mutually beneficial outcomes. His efforts resulted in several partnership agreements, including an Intergovernmental Support Agreement saving the Army $10 million over five years.
In 2016, Gerritson was recognized for his role in creating one of the Top-5 partnership programs in the Army.
As a retired Air Force veteran, Mr. Gerritson spent seven years of his career teaching enlisted leadership and management studies at the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base.
